Tenerife

An island of contrasts

Costa rocosa con montañas y vegetación junto al mar azul bajo un cielo parcialmente nublado.

An island, many landscapes.

Tenerife changes with the altitude. From the humid laurel forest in the Anaga Massif to the volcanic landscape of Teide; from the banana plantations in the north valleys to the open coasts in the south. A small island that contains many worlds.

From Taro Santa Cruz, the gateway to Anaga and in the urban heart of the island, you can discover each one on short journeys: Atlantic nature, peaceful villages, and a city that lives facing the sea.

The journey begins at Taro’s door.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Santa Cruz is a bright and open city that combines everyday life, culture, and the pulse of its port. It is a capital that can be explored on foot and without haste: markets, squares, art, and architecture.

Anaga Rural Park

Half an hour from Taro Santa Cruz, the Anaga Rural Park transports you to an ancestral landscape. Declared a Biosphere Reserve, this volcanic massif covered with laurel forests is one of the most valuable natural spaces in the Canary Islands.

San Cristóbal de La Laguna

Connected with Santa Cruz, La Laguna was the first capital of the island and today is a World Heritage City by UNESCO.

Its original layout, colonial architecture, and the vibrant atmosphere of its streets make it a city with its own history and life.

Teide National Park

Crowning the island, Teide rises as the highest peak in Spain (3,718 m).

Its National Park, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a volcanic landscape of lava seas, rock formations, and the world’s finest skies for astronomical observation.
